Skeleton Science!

We had such a fun, creative and high quality learning opportunity in Science today.

We learned all about the purpose of the skeleton, and why we have a skeletal system. We also learned some of the names of the most vital bones in our body. Can we remember the reasons for us having a skeletal system? Can you remember which bones we thought were most important?

Using clay and toothpicks, we created our very own human skeletal structure, demonstrating our bones such as the spine; skull; sternum and rib cage. We all came up with our own brilliant ways of demonstrating our knowledge using the clay. Have a look:

A truly enjoyable lesson by all!!
