Dolphin Team

Hello! I’m Mrs Grove and this is my sixth year at Selsdon Primary. One of these years I was off for maternity leave and now I have a cheeky little boy.
When I’m not running around after my toddler, I love to go out for meals, explore new places and laugh out loud. I’m known for loving stars and you will normally see me with star accessories, dresses or tops. I also am very fond of the sea as I used to scuba dive and have a real interest in sharks…my favourite being the Whale shark as it is such a gentle creature.
I look forward to getting to know all of the Year 4 children this year.

My name is Nikki Chapman and I am a teaching assistant in Dolphin class. I am delighted to be spending a third year with the amazing children in this class and it is a privilege to continue to watch them grow and to follow their progress.

When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with my family. I have three children, a tabby cat called Emma and a pond full of fish. I love reading and going for long walks, especially in North Cornwall where I go with my family when we can.

I try to keep fit by going to a Pilates class and I also go running a few times a week; this helps me to keep up with the children in Dolphin class when we run around the field in P.E.!

I am sure we are all going to enjoy Year 4 and learn lots of new things but please come and see me if I can help you with anything at all.

My name is Mrs Cheryl Lawla-Biggs. I was born in Jamaica. I have been a teaching assistant at Selsdon Primary School for 17 years so I have worked in every year group ( reception – year 6). I have found working with children very rewarding and I am willing to listen and support them in any way I can.

My favourite colour is pink, any shade. I am a lady who loves to lunch and I also love shopping, singing, dancing, cooking and socialising.
