Hello! I’m Miss Hackett and this is my second year as a teacher at Seldon, although I feel at home here as I went to Selsdon Praimary as a student myself. When I’m not teaching children at school, I work with children too, as I am a brownie and Girl Guide leader. I enjoy going camping and the outdoors. Including going for long walks with my dog. I also love going abroad, when I was 16 I spent a months backpacking in Borneo. I had an amazing time; climbing a mountain, white water rafting and looking after Orangutangs. I also spent 4 months working in a summer camp in America and exploring New York. I am
I have been working at Selsdon Primary School for 6 years. I love reading and my favourite books are by David Walliams, which is good, as lots of children enjoy reading these to me!
I enjoy going to theme parks with my 3 children. I love being on scary rides and my favourite is Air at Alton Towers.
This is my tenth year at Selsdon Primary School where the children always call me Mrs A. I have been a teaching assistant and a 1:1 support! I have worked in many year groups including Year 6. In addition, I have thoroughly enjoyed working at Selsdon Primary and am pleased to be working with Year 4.
In my free time I enjoy shopping and socialising with my family and friends! I especially enjoy getting a new hair style so watch out for new styles each term!!!
Most importantly though, if you are a parent or carer of a child in Seal class we are happy to discuss their education with you if you would like. Simply pop in and we’ll arrange a suitable time.
